Spencer started racing karts in 2008. He has multiple track championships,
Mississippi State Series Championships and Twin States Series Championships.
In 2015 Spencer moved up to dirt street stock. He has 75 feature wins in street stock, open wheel modified, crate late model and super late model.

Spencer's 2016 accomplishments are as follows. In the Street Stock he had 38 starts with 21 wins, 34 top 5s and 36 top 10s. He won the track championship at Whynot Motorsports Park in Meridian, MS and the track championship at Magnolia Motor Speedway in Columbus, MS. He won the Nesmith Performance Parts Street Stock Series National Championship. Notable wins include the Battle of the States, the MS State Championships and the Fall Classic at Whynot Motorsports Park and the Golden Egg Classic, the Magnolia State/Cotton Pickin 100 and the Fall 40 $5K to win at Magnolia Motor Speedway. He also won the inaugural King of the Swamp race at LA36 Speedway in Lacombe, LA. He also had one feature win at Southern Raceway in Milton, FL. He won one feature race at Whynot Motorsports Park in the UMP Open Wheel Modified divisions so his total number of feature wins for 2016 is 22.
He had 9 feature wins out of 15 starts in the street stock. In the 604 crate late model class he had 9 wins out of 13 starts and in the super late model class he had 2 wins out of 5 starts. He won the Battle of the States and the Mid Season Championship at Whynot Motorsports Park in the crate car. He became the youngest driver ever to win a Southern All Stars Series race by winning the 14th Annual Governor's Cup $4K to win race at Magnolia Motor Speedway. Notable 2017 street stock wins are the Battle of the States and Fall Classic at Whynot, The Golden Egg Classic and the $5K to win Fall 40 at Magnolia and the inaugural King of Tennessee Street Stock Shootout at Duck River Raceway Park

Spencer had 18 feature wins in 2019. He won 12 in the 604 Crate Late Model. Notable wins were The Battle of the States and the MS State Championships at Whynot Motorsports Park, both nights of the Clash at the Mag, and the Magnolia State/Cotton Pickin 100 at Magnolia Motor Speedway. In addition to his late model victories he won 4 UMP modified features. One of which was a FALS Cup race at Fairbury American Legion Speedway in Illinois while on a 3 week stint with the UMP Hell Tour. He became the first Mississippi driver to win a modified feature at FALS.He also picked up 2 Durrence Layne Street Stock feature wins in 2019.

Won the Pelican 40 Comp Cams Super Late Model race at Ark-La-Tex Speedway.
